Shawnee Smith (5' 3") is an American television and film actress. Smith is perhaps most well-known as Amanda Young, in the Saw film series and Linda Becker in the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was part of the band metal Fydolla ho, with who she performed in The United States and United Kingdom. She also is a member of Smith & Pyle, a desert-country rock band created by Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith is the daughter of Jim Smith, a former US Air Force Pilot and financial planner, who also worked as an oncology nurse. Her birthplace was Orangeburg South Carolina. Smith's family moved to South Carolina to Van Nuys California at the age of an infant. Her parents separated at age two. her mother remarried when she was eight. Her school was Ranchito Avenue elementary school in Panorama City Los Angeles, as well as Madison Jr. High School located in North Hollywood. North Hollywood High School and was graduated in 1988.
