Anushka Sharma starred in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat. The actress played the role of a Punjabi woman in the middle classes who runs her own wedding company. The movie got positive reviews. Anushka's contract for three films at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baraat.
